I build the software my websites are made with.

I design and develop it myself, and I keep improving it. Every page is built ahead of time: HTML and CSS first, script only where it earns its weight.

Alex Larionov, software engineer, Aveyron, France

I build my own tools.

I design and develop the software I build each site with, and I keep improving it: codenav, a code-intelligence engine written in Rust, and Prometheus, the workspace my websites come out of.

Content is data.

One source of truth. Each piece of information is written once, in a record. Pages and sitemaps are generated from it, never kept up to date by hand.

Performance is a design decision.

Pages are built ahead of time and served as plain HTML and CSS. Script loads only where it earns its weight, and nothing tracks you without your consent. The constraint is the point: it forces clearer structure and sharper typography.

What I build

Two tools and the site you are reading. Neither tool is released: both are in active development.

codenav

A code-intelligence engine written in Rust: a symbol graph and a full-text index behind one tool surface, to find what already works before rewriting it.
  • Rust
  • redb
  • Tantivy
  • MCP

Prometheus

The self-hosted workspace I build every site with: code intelligence, a website build engine and an agent gateway in one system.
  • Rust
  • TypeScript
  • Svelte 5
  • Tauri

This site

Produced by my own engine, from its own records. Built ahead of time: HTML and CSS first, script only where it earns its weight.
  • Prometheus

That is the work of Quantum Web Pulse, my web agency.
